In a time of rapid social change and increasing diversity, empowering educators and marginalized groups is more crucial than ever. This project, focused on adult education, aims to provide tools and methodologies to enhance the skills of educators and the lives of adults in fragile and marginalized contexts. Through storytelling, we seek to promote empowerment, cultural understanding, and innovative educational practices across Europe.

The primary objective is to support and enhance the work of adult educators. Storytelling is a powerful tool for empowerment. By engaging marginalized adults in this practice, we foster self-confidence, creativity, and active citizenship, helping individuals express themselves and connect with broader cultural narratives. Our commitment also extends to developing a shared European methodology for using storytelling in adult education. To support these initiatives, we are developing practical tools, including an e-book and a digital platform, providing educators and learners with easy access to a wealth of stories and educational materials.
Simultaneously, our project involves collecting and rewriting traditional stories from various European countries. These stories are carefully selected and rewritten to highlight diverse cultural values and competencies, thus creating a rich repository of narratives. A storytelling card game will also be designed to make storytelling interactive and engaging as an educational tool. This game will facilitate learning in a fun way, making the storytelling experience more interactive for learners. Finally, workshops will be organized in partner countries, involving adult educators and target groups in storytelling activities. These workshops aim to share methodologies and tools, fostering collaboration and empowerment among participants.
The project is based on fundamental values such as resilience, equality, creativity, self-confidence, active citizenship, democracy, and social inclusion. These values guide our efforts to create an inclusive and stimulating educational environment. In terms of expected results, the project aims to strengthen soft skills, such as communication, empathy, and critical thinking. It also introduces innovative practices in adult education, especially for marginalized groups. By enhancing the capabilities of partner organizations and staff, the project promotes empowerment and cultural understanding across Europe, contributing to a more inclusive and resilient society.
