DigiWELL Project No.: 2022-2-SK01-KA220-ADU-000096888
In a world where technology continues to play an increasingly significant role in our lives, the DigiWELL project stands as a pan-European initiative. Its aim is to provide educational opportunities for adults in the realms of digital well-being and cybersecurity, aiming to enhance their resilience in the face of contemporary digital challenges.
Led by a European consortium coordinated by Slovenská poľnohospodárska univerzita v Nitre in Slovakia, the project brings together various partner institutions, including Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi (MSKU) in Turkey, The European Institute for Innovation (EIfI-Tech) in Germany, České vysoké učení technické v Praze (CTU in Prague) in the Czech Republic, Asociación de Innovación Formación y Empleo para el Desarrollo Sostenible (AIFED) in Spain, Found.ation Maker’s Place Private Company (Found.ation) in Greece, and Foundation Sizigija Skopje (SYZYGY) in North Macedonia.
The fundamental goal of the DigiWELL project is to democratize digital well-being and cybersecurity skills among all adults, regardless of their initial level of proficiency. In a constantly evolving technological environment, it is imperative that everyone can use these tools confidently while being fully aware of the inherent risks.
To achieve this ambition, the project organizes workshops dedicated to developing manuals, methodologies, and training programs tailored to a diverse audience. Additionally, itestablishes a platform of free educational resources, offering courses, videos, and practical guides to strengthen individuals' digital resilience.
Despite being ongoing, the DigiWELL project has already made a significant impact on promoting adults' digital resilience. Educational resources and practical tools are already available and actively consulted, in line with the project's objectives. Moreover, the platform and blog are already operational, facilitating initial exchanges and articles beyond transnational meetings. Thus, the DigiWELL project progresses in its mission to enhance adults' digital resilience and continues to explore new opportunities by developing innovative initiatives in this field.
Through its commitment to collaboration, education, and awareness-raising, the DigiWELL project aims to create a safer, more inclusive, and more resilient digital world for all. By encouraging active participation from adults of all backgrounds, the project strives to create positive and lasting change in how we use and interact with technology in our daily lives.
